Background and History

In 1962, James Wong in conjunction with Chaminade University founded The Hawaii Tax Institute to provide a higher level of continuing education for local Hawaiian professionals in the field of tax and estate planning. By inviting elite tax professionals from the mainland throughout the years, James Wong established a critical platform for the highest quality of learning at the Hawaii Tax Institute. The Hawaii Tax Institute has continued to build upon the legacy of James Wong by becoming one of the Country's premier tax, estate planning and wealth transfer institutes with nationally and internationally acclaimed faculty and registrants from the United States and Asia.
